How Old Is Goku In Dragon Ball?
Goku’s story begins as an 11-year-old when Bulma discovers him in search of Dragon Balls. He tags along with Bulma and the others to stop Emperor Pilaf. With three years passing after that, a 15-year-old Goku dismantles the Red Ribbon Army. After that, an 18-year-old Goku enters the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament.
How Old Is Goku In Dragon Ball Z?
Five years after the end of Dragon Ball, a 23-year-old Goku has a 5-year-old son named Gohan. Goku learns of his Saiyan heritage and sacrifices himself to kill his evil brother, Raditz. Upon resurrection, Goku is 27 years old when he returns.
How Old Is Goku In Dragon Ball Z KAI?
Goku sacrifices himself against Cell and is dead for seven years. After being revived by Elder Kai, he returns to his 27-year-old body as a 34-year-old. After Buu’s death, the series goes through a ten-year long time skip, making Goku 44 years old in the body of a 37-year-old.
How Old Is Goku In Dragon Ball GT
Dragon Ball GT begins five years after Buu’s resurrection and Uub’s training. Goku’s age at this point is 49, although physically, he is still 42. However, Goku accidentally regresses to an 11-year-old. Goku still retains the consciousness of a 49-year-old.
Around a year later, when Goku is physically 12 but mentally 50, the earth is destroyed as he fails to save it in his current predicament. Another one-year time skip later, a 13-year-old Goku merges with the Eternal Dragon, returning to his physical prime.
We don’t have an exact time frame as it is never explicitly mentioned, but Goku is assumed to be around 51 years old mentally at the end of Dragon Ball GT.

Dragon Ball Super happens in the ten-year time skip mentioned earlier. Four years into the time skip, with Goku mentally 38 but physically 31, he trains alongside Vegeta under the watchful eye of Beerus and Whis.
