Lucius Displays True Power of Zogratis in ‘Black Clover’ Chapter 361

‘Black Clover’ manga brought everyone to a standstill in Chapter 360 when Yuno delivered a fatal blow to Lucius Zogratis. Yuno was not only keeping up with Lucius’s moves, but he also made Lucius show signs of fear. The events occurring did not match any of his predictions.

This felt a little anticlimactic as Asta was still in the Land of the Sun. The entire chapter made us all think that Yuno defeated Lucius. Yet we suspected that there was more to occur, and Chapter 361 just confirmed that.

Chapter 361 of ‘Black Clover’ proved in its first few pages that Lucius was in fact, alive. It also revealed another ability of Lucius which acts as a fail-safe to his plan of ruling the land as the last Wizard King.

Yuno looks at a wounded Lucius, declaring his victory. Suddenly he senses another Lucius and blocks his attack. Confused at the sight, Yuno wonders what is going on and why there are two bodies.

Lucius then tells that he currently wields soul magic, body magic, blood magic, and bone magic. This has allowed him to create multiple clones of himself. Body magic, blood magic, and bone magic were also held by his siblings – Dante, Vanica, and Zenon respectively.

We still do not know the full extent of Lucius’s power, considering the power granted to him by the devil Astaroth and the heart of Lucifero. All hope seems lost for the magic warriors with the appearance of the clones.

Not everyone has given up on the battle yet. Noelle continues to fight while the rest of the Black Bulls reach out to the Witch Queen. They plan to contact Asta, who is getting ready for battle himself, hinting at his departure.

Things have gotten quite intense since Chapter 331 when Lucius first appeared. Almost every chapter unleashed a new secret or a terrifying incident. Out of the three popular shonen manga that have a war going on, ‘Black Clover’ has always kept us all on our toes. Do you agree with me?
