A series of flashbacks continue Mikey’s narration of his past in chapter 264 of Tokyo Revengers. In this chapter, Mikey’s life is again blighted by tragedy as his brother Shinichiro passes away.
As the flashback illustrates, Mikey’s descent into brutality begins long before his mother’s death.
Takemichi and Kisaki appear in Mikey’s life, where the series begins. Mikey’s past is quite tragic, but the real reason for his drastic impulse is his eschewing of strength, which no one in his life attempted to correct before he met Takemichi.
Here are the latest updates.
1. Chapter 265 Raw Scans, Leaks
The raw scans of chapter 265 “Stand by Me” are finally out. This chapter starts with Mikey having a conversation with Kisaki over a ramen table. Later, another meeting happens between Mikey and the other Toman captains. Judging from the other captains’ expressions, it seems that they are discussing bringing Kisaki into Toman.
Since Baji is also present at the time, these conversations took place before he quit Toman and Joined Valhalla. The next panels show the fight between Toman and Valhalla, and Mikey sees Kazutora stabbing Baji. This time, it focuses on what Mikey felt at that moment.
A feeling of darkness seems to take over him, which is displayed by the tendrils-like appearance. Commonly known as his dark impulses, he can be seen taking down Kazutora and beating him badly, with Kisaki smiling.
2. Chapter 265 Discussion
Kisaki and Takemichi appeared at the end of chapter 264 of Tokyo Revengers. Mikey considers them both vital to his future, which is noteworthy.
In addition to presenting two very different views on strength, Kisaki and Takemichi affect Mikey’s perception of change in two very different ways. Readers can look forward to another picture in the next chapter than they’ve seen.

5. Chapter 264 Recap
Chapter 264 of Tokyo Revengers is titled “Not Only the Force but Also.” It opens during Mikey’s sixth-grade year. Mitsuya’s introduction to Toman was due to take place on the day Draken visited the Sano house. Despite his scary appearance, Emma was impressed by Draken’s gentle and helpful nature.
Mikey and Baji meet Mitsuya at the shrine next. A strong group of men, including Baji, Draken, Kazutora, Pah-chin, and Mitsuya, established Toman together, according to Mikey. Until Shinichiro was murdered on his birthday, things were going well.
The young man kept his tears hidden inside a hospital bathroom until his tears stopped despite losing his brother.
His misguided attempt to live up to Shinichiro’s name led him to propose that the gang expand and become a full-fledged delinquent gang. Draken recognized Mikey’s desire to hold onto Shinichiro’s legacy, despite others’ skepticism.
A montage of important figures joins the gang in chapter 264 of Tokyo Revengers: the Kawata twins, Hakkai Shiba, Peh-Yan, Yasuhiro Muto, and Chifuyu Matsuno, of course. Haruchiyo appears precisely as he did when the readers first met him in this shot.
After that, Draken recalls the cliffside scene from chapter 223, in which they promised to win the entire country.
Mikey, however, met two other boys later that year whom he refers to as “The two who changed my fate”: Takemichi Hanagaki and Kisaki Tetta. The chapter presented several heartwarming and heartbreaking moments, including Draken and Emma’s first meeting and Mikey’s thoughts on his gangmates, but three stand out the most.
Mikey’s reliance on Draken is one of the first things we notice. Draken seems to understand Mikey the best despite having met him much later than Baji or Haruchiyo did.
This must have caused Haruchiyo some grievance, given that he hailed Mikey as his king. Draken grew closer to Mikey than anyone else, to the extent that people called him “Mikey’s Heart.”
It is also notable that Haruchiyo did not form part of Toman’s founding members. The narrator didn’t mention Mikey’s childhood friend, even though he was as close as Baji to him. According to him, Toman was ruled by Mikey and his five friends.
After Tokyo Manji Kai was formed, Mikey asked Mucho to look after Haruchiyo, which leads readers to believe they must have fallen out.
