Shikizakura Anime’s Soulful Ending Theme Accompanies New Trailer!

You will never be able to estimate the horror that lurks in a world where cherry blossoms are in full bloom! Shikizakura is a unique anime that portrays a struggle for survival between humans and demons called “Oni” in this rather serene setting.

In between all this chaos, Kakeru tries to protect Ouka, who is fated to save the world. In this modern ‘power rangers meet aesthetic anime’ series, Kakeru needs to prove his worth as a fighter.

Shikizakura, the original anime series by studio Sublimation, is aiming for an October 2021 debut! In addition, a new trailer has been released for the upcoming anime.

The trailer shows scenes of Kakeru and Ouka with their friends. Careless days of the youth are strewn across the pleasant scenes. CGI effects have been used as well.

Even the “Yoroi” or powered Oni-fighting suits are shown in the PV. Will the team of Yoroi be able to protect Ouka and the humans?

The trailer also previews the ending theme of the anime “Shikizakura,” performed by May’n. Episode 1 of the anime debuted on Anime Expo Lite 2021’s live stream event!

“Believe Myself” is the opening theme song of the anime, performed by Asuka.

About Shikizakura

Shikizakura is an original anime by studio Sublimation. It follows high school student Kakeru Miwa, who ends up being an irregular member of a power suit team tasked with battling Oni.

These Oni possess humans and try to sneak into the transient world. Only the power suit, Yoroi, which combines ancient secrets with the latest technology, can protect people from Oni.

Due to this sudden turn of events, Kakeru decides to become a hero who will battle Oni and protect Ouka Myoujin, the shrine maiden fated with saving the world.
