My Hero Academia Throws Light on Mysterious Eri

My Hero Academia is venturing forth into the Shie Hassaikai Arc with its fourth season. Overhaul, the main arcs antagonist, has tried to keep his plan a secret but looks like the heroes are onto his trail.

Episode 69, titled “An Unpleasant Talk”, showcases a meeting organised by Sir Nighteye. With the evidence collected by the heroes, Overhauls plan is finally revealed.

Along with the Quirk Enhancing drug, looks like Overhaul’s team has been developing a Quirk Cancelling Bullet, which ultimately aims to erase the victims quirk permanently. The formula for this serum is derived from Eri’s blood, which along with Overhaul’s quirk is gonna be devastating for the status quo of the world.

Sir Nighteye’s meeting is attended by Pro Heroes and students from U.A. currently involved in work studies under these Heroes. Fat Gum and his crew, along with Kirishima were a part of this meeting and they shared their experience fighting the gunman who shot Tamaki with a Quirk Cancelling Bullet. Tamaki is still recovering from the wound and will have control over his quirk after he recovers.

However, it seems that the end goal of the bullet is to Erase quirks permanently. The impacts of such a weapon in MHA’s world are devastating. Even, and the thought brings a chill down the spine.

Midoriya and Mirio were present at the meeting as well, and they added onto this revelation by uncovering the fact. These bullets are being made from the blood of Overhauls daughter, Eri, who they ran into and failed to rescue.

Mirio made the correct choice by backing off from Overhaul, as to rescue Eri, the key to his plan, they would have an all-out battle, which would inevitably result in their demise. Even with the support of Pro Heroes, looks like this battle is gonna take everything Izuku can bring to the table.
