Eve Performs New Opening Theme for My Hero Academia Anime
On January 7, the official website for the My Hero Academia anime revealed that Eve will be performing the new opening theme song “Bokura No” for the sixth season of the anime. The new theme song debuted along with the show’s second cours on January 7.
The ending theme song of the show, “Kita Kaze” is performed by the three-member rock band Six Lounge. The previous ending theme song “SKETCH” was performed by Kiro Akiyama.
The sixth season of the anime premiered on October 1and will air for two continuous cours and consists of a total of 25 episodes. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan. The anime is also streaming on Toonami.
The new season has adapted the “Paranormal Liberation War” arc of Kohei Horikoshi’s original manga. The arc features an all-out war between the heroes and the villains.
The series plot as described by Crunchyroll is:
“Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers.
That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal.
But that’s not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.”
Horikoshi originally launched the manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 2014. Viz Media published the manga digitally in English.

My Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014, with its chapters additionally collected in 37 tankōbon volumes as of February 2023.
