Kingdom Season 5 Episode 7: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Kanki misses a golden opportunity to capture the central hill in episode 6 of Kingdom season 5, titled “Koku You’s Crucial Moment.” 

It was a thrilling episode. Ka Ryou gave a huge opportunity to Kanki to conquer part of the central hill. However, he left everyone shaken when he didn’t exploit this opportunity and sat back, getting a shoulder massage. 

Kyou Kai recovered from her wounds with the help of Kon. Kon, who was hostile towards her at first, saves her life. Ki Sui comes out as an even more mysterious character in this episode as Kon narrates his tragic life to Kyou Kai.

1. Episode 7 Release Date

Episode 7 of Kingdom season 5 will be released on Saturday, February 24, 2024. It is a weekly anime, and each new episode is released every Saturday. You can watch Kingdom on Crunchyroll.

2. Episode 7 Speculations

Kon will dive deeper into the past of Ki Sui in episode 7 of Kingdom season 5, titled “The Tragedy of Rigan.” 

Ki Sui holds an important position in this battle. He has been a mysterious figure until now, but with Kon’s story, we are getting the idea about the character and what he stands for. Rigan seems to have been in a lot of trouble during Ki Sui’s father’s time, and we will learn more about it in the next episode. 

I am excited to see what Kanki has been thinking all this time. Not even his closest allies know what he is up to. The fate of the battle lies completely in his hands, and he seems to be enjoying this privilege. Maybe he wanted to demoralize Zhao and find a weaker spot that he could utilize to ensure complete victory. 

3. Episode 6 Recap

Kyou Kai is saved by the leader of a village. Kyou Kai had earlier come to the village to warn them about the invaders, but the leader was hostile towards her. Still, the horse took the injured Kyou Kai back to the village and saved her.

Kyou Kai tries to get up despite being very sick. On the battlefield, Ba Tei has lost control of the situation as the Qin army has put up a strong offense. A sick and tired Ryuu Tou shows up to help Ba Tei’s army.

Ka Ryou tells the soldiers that they no longer need to march on the front line and will split their army into two parts and aid Kanki’s army. Now, their target is the central hill. After getting the news of the Hi Shin unit’s split, Ryuu Tou also immediately concludes that they are moving to the central hill.

Seeing a part of the Hi Shin army below him, Ki Sui is forced to send a third of his army to defend the hill against Shin’s army. However, the Shin army is not moving forward because they are waiting for Kanki’s reaction to such a great opportunity presented before him.

The Qin forces have the chance to conquer the right side of the central hill on the third day itself. Everyone waits for Kanki’s orders, but nothing happens. The whole day goes by, and Kanki leaves everyone shocked by not even raising a finger.

Ki Sui thinks that without moving, Kanki did something, but he doesn’t know what. Ka Ryou angrily rushes towards Na Ki and demands answers from him, but he, too, doesn’t know what Kanki is thinking. He only thinks that maybe Kanki found that not doing anything will give him more gains.

Koku’Ou meets Ma Ron and asks him about Kanki’s strategy, but MA Ron has no idea about what Kanki is thinking. She warns him about Ki Sui, someone whose mere presence motivated the Zhao soldiers to push forward and overwhelm her unit. 

Kyou Kai opens her eyes to find herself in a room with Kon (the leader who saved her). Kon tells her that she will only be able to return back in the morning. She asks about a doll she found in Kyou Kai’s clothes. Kon realizes that Ki Sui is also a part of the battle, and they have no chance of winning against him.

Kyou Kai has no idea who he is. Kon starts narrating a story about the tragedy that happened with Ki Sui fifteen years ago. This tragedy made him the great general he is today. Fifteen years ago, he saw all of Riyan’s adults burned alive in front of his eyes.
