Baki: Which Version to Watch? Complete Watch Guide

Baki narrates the tale of different men and their love for fighting. Unlike other Shonen, there is no motive for the fights other than fighting itself. The reason this works is that every character is insanely in love with some form of martial arts and fighting.

The fights are illustrated with heavily detailed mechanics of anatomic movements, the animation embellishes the human anatomy at its peak with elaborate strokes highlighting each flexed muscle.

Baki is not for the faint-hearted. The anime is nothing but violent fights followed by build-ups to the next fightSome might find the animation grotesque, but that depends on personal preferences. The plot may seem ridiculous, but if you love violent action sprinkled with a pinch of absurdity, Baki is the ideal anime for you!

The series has four seasons in total.  Season 1 and Season 2 released in 2001 and come under the series “Baki the Grappler.”

Season 1 on Netflix, released in 2018, comes under the series “Baki.” Season 2 on Netflix is still ongoing. All of these belong to the same franchise and follow the same protagonist.
