The tale of a homeless god regaining his godhood is reaching its end as Adachitoka’s Noragami manga series enters its final arc. The fantasy series is planned to reach its conclusion this year.
On Thursday, the official Twitter for Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen magazine revealed that Noragami would end with Volume 27. It will be published at the end of 2023.
[Latest issue] Volume 26 of “Noragami” (Adachi Toka) is on sale today! The long-standing ties will be parted here!! And in the next volume, volume 27, the “town myth” will come to an end!!

The penultimate issue, Volume 26, was released on February 16. Kodansha USA publishes the manga and the spinoff manga in English. The spinoff contains extra chapters that have been published in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen+ magazine since 2011.
Noragami also inspired an anime series that premiered in January 2014. A second season, titled Noragami: Aragoto also released in October 2015. Studio Bones produced the series.
It has been a long time since the second season premiered, but fans believe the rest of the story might get animated soon now that the series is ending. With the previous seasons covering up to Volume 10, there surely is a lot of material to adapt.

Noragami is a fantasy manga series by the mangaka duo Adachitoka. It was first launched in December 2010 in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine. It has been collected into 27 tankobon volumes, with several extra chapters published separately.
On a quest to be not forgotten by humans, Yato, a self-proclaimed delivery God, does everything he can to make ends meet. He does every single task assigned to him for a meager offering of 5 Yen.
One day, he encounters Hiyori, a human with a soul problem. Her soul slips out of her body whenever she wants or accidentally. Believing that Yato was partially responsible for this slip, she asks him to fix, hence beginning a series of adventures that lead to self-realization, finding true friends and love.
