The episode is not too long, spanning a bit more than two and a half minutes. It shows Thorfinn as he looked like when he was a part of Askeladd’s raiders. He slaughters some of the villagers who charge toward him.

He later enters a house, but the person entering changes into an adult Thorfinn. In the house, a family is seen cowering because of the attack. Their cries evoke something inside Thorfinn.

Makoto Yukimura, the creator, also shared his comment on the short.
