Last time, we covered the Top 10 Liberos of Haikyu!!. However, the defense isn’t everything in a game, is it? Especially without the spikers, the game wouldn’t be as exciting as it is.
In the ‘Haikyu!!- verse’, many of the powerful characters such as Osamu Miya and Asahi Asumane do not play anymore as they have retired. So who are the current Top 10 Spikers in Haikyu!!? Let us find out!
Izuru Nozawa, Wing Spiker of Kamomedai High is very proficient when it comes to spiking and receiving. With curly hair, he can also execute a jump serve and just like the rest of his team, he is also very good at blocking incoming spikes.
Also known as the “Pillar”, Hajime is incredibly strong at spikes. He has faith in himself and his abilities. Spiking is a skill he began developing as a child. He feels absolute thrill playing this game and loves exploiting his opponent’s weakness.
It’s time for our main protagonist Hinata. Sorry if you were expecting him to rank higher on the list, but our little boy isn’t quite ready yet.

His motivation from Little Giant is paying off slowly and his efforts to defeat Kageyama one day are showing in the match. It doesn’t matter how hard the journey might be for him, we all know he will be one of the best soon.
Although Takeru is currently a Libero, the angle at which he spikes is quite unique. According to his coach, his angle of hitting gives the ball a certain spin which makes it slip off the defenders. This quality works wonders in front of opponents like Tsukishima. At times, he is the trump card for winning.
One thing that sets Korai apart from others is his ability to jump higher than normal for his height.
His speed and all-round skills make him even more dangerous in critical situations. He can easily outclass regular defenders. He has multiple attacks up his sleeves such as wipes, feints, and crosses. He gives more Small Giant vibes than Hinata does even though he was a role model for both of them.
Aran’s powerful and unique spike server brought him to this list. His explosive jump helps him spike above the block.
He has managed to do three consecutive successful spikes too. According to his coach, he is one of the top spikers of the game, however for this list, not quite there yet.
Bokuto started his career with the straight spike but he wasn’t good at it so he switched to cross spike. After that, he became a cross spike specialist but it still wasn’t enough in front of the modern needs of the game.
He then went down the road of hard work and re-perfected his straight spike to a level where opponents fear him now. Now, when he is in full swing, he can be on par with the Top Three.
He becomes a big trouble for the opponent team because of the fact that he is left-handed and most defenders practice blocking spikes coming from a different angle. He is a powerful man, like Hulk in Avengers. You need hands of steel to pick his incoming spikes because oh boy does it hurt.
Kiryuu is as good as Ushijima in terms of power but what enhanced his rank is his better precision.
His leg training plays a big role in this. Even when it’s not his day, his passes seem magical. His powerful legs really pay off at the time of executing those perfect jump serves and also makes him an excellent receiver.
He is the youngest of the other top guys we talked about above. His spikes connect at the perfect time almost every time that it looks unreal.
Some people say it is because of his ultra-flexible wrists but we think otherwise. The thing which makes it special for us is the spin he adds to his spikes. That spin forces defenders to use their belly and liberos hate him. He is a complete player and hence, #1 for us.
