Toman calls an emergency meeting in response to the sudden attack by Tenjiku. Mikey decides to launch a counter-attack in Yokohama, but Takemichi has a feeling that they’re walking into a trap. To confirm his suspicions about Kisaki, he returns to the future.

2. Episode 3 Speculation

Takemichi is now in a highly dire situation since Naoto and his death are assured if he doesn’t change the past. Kisaki gave an extremely suspicious glare while they shook hands at the end, which enforces the theory that he knows about the time-traveling ability.

Once he returns, he will have to prevent the deal from happening at the end of the Yokohama fight. Takemichi will likely try and ask Mikey to stop the battle, but Toman has no choice but to fight back against Tenjiku. As long as they win the fight, no deal will be needed.

Taiju takes them to a restaurant he owns and talks about Sano, the founder of Black Dragon. Sano was Mikey’s older brother, and they carried the leadership on for multiple generations. Taiju also talks about the Kanto incident, which resulted in Izana and Kisaki joining forces with Toman.

In the present, Izana has gathered control over the entirety of Toman and even influences the police. Their discussion is interrupted by Izui and Kokonoi, along with goons sent by Izana. Taiju laughs at them for thinking Black Dragon’s underlings could even think of standing up to him.

Taiju tells the two to run out of the back exit while he fights them all by himself. As they try to escape, Kisaki appears from an alleyway with a gun pointed at Takemichi. Naoto jumps in the way and intercepts the bullet before telling Takemichi to run away. From behind Kisaki, Izana comes out with Kakucho.

He orders Kaku to kill Takemichi, and he shoots without any hesitation. While bleeding out to death, Naoto shares everything he thought about Takemichi. Before he draws his final breath, Takemichi shakes Naoto’s hand for the last time.

5. About Tokyo Revengers

Tokyo Revengers is a manga written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine on March 1, 2017, and ended its run in November 2022. It is compiled into 31 tankobon volumes.

The story revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki, who learned that Tokyo Manji Gang had killed his only ex-girlfriend from back in middle school. After learning about the incident, Takemichi was pushed from the railway platform.

Landing on the tracks, he closed his eyes, accepting his death, but when he opened his eyes, he had time-leaped 12 years into the past.
