Albert and Suzuno fight independently since Sadao still hasn’t regained his power. Although humanity has been at war with them forever, Albert sees compassion and humanity in the devils. This is one of the only reasons he’s agreeing to work with Sadao to rescue Emi.

Suzuno decides their first objective is to free the Emperor-Unifier and rescue Nord Justina. Sadao sits down with Acieth over a meal and asks about their fusion ability. After eating a bunch, they go shopping to get Chiho a souvenir.

While he browses the shop, Acieth asks about his relationship with Emi. Sadao thinks of her as a rival, not just a friend or enemy. Mid-conversation, Acieth starts feeling sick, and her energy beam goes off. Meanwhile, at the army camps, a report for Emi comes in.

Their sources tell them that Alciel is also in Heavensky, waiting for their army to invade. Emi starts breaking down after hearing the news. She’s confused about her current role in this world and wants Sadao to save her again.

Alciel sends a letter to the army camps written in Japanese so that no one else can read it. Emi reads it out; the Devil is coming to pay her back at Heavensky. She tells Olba that they must withdraw the army immediately to survive.

5. About The Devil is a Part-Timer!

The Devil Is a Part-Timer! is a Japanese light novel series written by Satoshi Wagahara, with illustrations by Oniku (written as 029). ASCII Media Works has published the series in Japan, while Yen Press has published the series in North America.

The story revolves around the Demon Lord Satan after he is stuck in the human world. Satan loses against the hero Emilia in his homeworld Ente Isla. He then takes one of his subordinates – Alciel and transports himself to the human world, where he is left powerless due to the lack of magic.

Both Satan and Alciel take human forms, and Satan takes up a part-time job at a fast-food restaurant to earn a living. Things get even more complicated once Emilia arrives under the guise of a human named Emi Yusa. This light-hearted comedy explores the interactions of “evil” and “good.”
