2. Chapter 416 Raw Scans

The chapter begins with Deku launching another attack. The scene cuts to Eri, who says that she needs to save Deku, but Ectoplasm informs her that he is hundreds of kilometers away. Eri suggests using the underground transportation system, but it’s damaged. Additionally, she hasn’t gathered enough energy on her horn yet, and even if she managed to reach him, she’d be useless. She previously attempted to heal Aizawa’s eye and leg, but she could not do it precisely due to a lack of energy. Ectoplasm understands how she feels, but all they can do now is believe in Deku.

Next, we see a flashback of Eri telling Deku her dream, which motivates him to do even better. She starts crying, but Kouta holds her hand. Kouta says that Deku is always crying, which inspires him since he’s also a crybaby. We then see a civilian who refuses to let Deku back into the U.A. watching the fight and remembering the promise Deku made: “we’ll bring it all back.”

The scene cuts to outside of U.A. Monoma is being carried on a stretcher, and Fukidashi is worried about him. Momo is helping Kaminari to walk, and the two of them are watching the fight on a phone. Momo is worried about Deku being in a “dark form” once again. Denki asks Momo if she knows that “I trust that guy!” cliché that characters like him and Kirishima always say. She says she doesn’t, and Kaminari remembers that she doesn’t read Shonen. He then says that although Deku is the strongest in the world right now, he doesn’t feel like All Might.

Cut to Gunga, and we see Ochako being taken away by a reporter in a helicopter. She speaks on a walkie-talkie, informing someone that the Gravity girl from the U.A. has a severe injury and needs medical assistance immediately. The other reporter runs toward Hawks and Tokoyami, saying that the UA robots will rescue the wounded. Hawks thinks about what Ochako did and her speech back at U.A. He then remembers what he said before: “If each of us started thinking about everyone…”

Cut to Rock Lock and Nagant. He asks why she’s helping Deku, and Nagant says that it’s because he opened her heart. Deku does what villains hate the most: he takes the hard way without believing in absolute good or evil. He suffers a lot in the process, but this is what makes her want to root for him. As she says this, we see a double-page spread of a very determined Deku and many civilians watching him on a big screen. Then, a single person says timidly, “Do your best…” That person is a civilian, a random person in the crowd. Deku is about to go for another punch, and Shigaraki screams, “Don’t come any closer!” followed by a panel of his father right before he died.

Deku apparently hits him, but suddenly he sees himself in front of the Shimura family house. The chapter ends here.

No break next week!!!!!

3. Chapter 416 Speculation

As the battle between Shigaraki and Deku reaches its critical stages, other members of the Hero and Villain Associations will likely join the fray. The entire world will watch as the final deciding fight plays out in the hands of Deku.

I. Kurogiri Arrives

Kurogiri and Aizawa’s arrival has been long pending, and this is the perfect time to enter the fight. As Hatsume broadcasts the live footage to the world, Kurogiri will know precisely where to warp. With the help of Kurogiri’s warp, the remaining members of the Hero Association who can still fight can teleport to Deku. With the additional firepower of other heroes, Deku can transfer One For All and still be safe.

II. Eri’s Power

As Eri tries to leave the evacuation shelter, Ecto will probably stop her before she gets hurt. Using Eri’s power, they could turn Kurogiri back into Shirakumo. Eri could also rewind Overhaul to heal all the injured students. If the students are healed enough to fight again, Deku will have additional support from all his friends.

4. Chapter 415 Recap

As the memories of Shigaraki and Deku blend together, Yoichi assumes it may be due to One For All resonating with All For One’s quirk factor. After transferring Kudo to Shigaraki, the battle has reached a critical point. Deku and Shigaraki continue their fight while flashbacks of previous battles play alongside them.

Deku lands another hit at Shigaraki’s chest but is blasted backwards; the transfer of quirks was rejected. En still managed to break through to Shigaraki, but Deku still can’t fully transfer the quirk. Shigaraki covers himself with giant fingers, protecting himself from direct contact with Deku.

Hatsume has an emergency flying ship to observe and broadcast the battle to the world. As the world sees the fight again, Manami Aiba comes onto the ship to help Hatsume. The two girls compete over being the ones to help Deku despite having the same goal.
