Power Joins the Hayakawa Household in Chainsaw Man Episode 4

Chainsaw Man fans have been excited for many panels and storylines to get animated and come to life in the anime. One such anticipated scene is the formation of the chaotic trio: Aki, Denji, and Power.

All three have highly conflicting philosophies and personalities, which might make it difficult to believe they can work together.

Chainsaw Man’s recent episode 4 was a massive shock to anime-only fans as it shows Power moving in with Aki and Denji on Makima’s orders.

Considering how the three had collided, viewers couldn’t comprehend that they could exist in one space peacefully, which is mostly true. However, the three would go on to become a great team despite the constant bickering and clashes.

Besides that, the episode hints toward Makima’s fishy plans regarding Denji and Power. Her actions seem suspicious because no one in their right mind would leave two devils out in the human world to live normally.

Fiends like Power are already hard to control, and Denji is driven only by his perverted desires. As if these two unpredictable and chaotic creatures weren’t difficult enough to work with, Makima leaves them in Aki’s care, much to his chagrin.

Makima also explains how devils work based on how much we fear them: the more we are afraid of them, the stronger they’ll get. Meanwhile, Aki realizes that Denji is not as immature as he thought.

During Denji’s fight with the Bat Devil and Leech Devil, no civilians were harmed, and those he saved even came back to thank him. After such a response, Aki seems to go easy on Denji, going as far as suggesting that Makima not put him through some severe punishment.

I’m really curious to see where Makima is going with this because, right now, it seems like she’s experimenting with devils. We can’t say if it’s evil because all Makima’s doing is observing whether Denji and Power can be tamed.

Other than that, I’m excited about this trio wreaking havoc from now on.
