A new story of a demon and an angel amid an eternal conflict will unfold soon. While a lot of them have been dark and serious like The Seven Deadly Sins, some also fall in the comedy genre. As for this one, this is said to be somewhere in between.
But at the very least, it still checks off the comedy part. Now what will become of the two beings? Will they come closer as friends or face each other as foes?
On Wednesday, Kadokawa confirmed that Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru (The Foolish Angel Dances With Demons) is getting an anime adaptation.
Earlier, Rakuten Books announced the anime on their website in its listing for Dengeki Maoh’s June issue. The June issue arrives today and the 15th volume will arrive tomorrow, April 27.
An official website and Twitter account was also launched for the anime series. Sawayoshi Azuma, the mangaka behind the supernatural rom-com also posted an illustration to celebrate the announcement.

No further information as to when it will be released and the voice cast has been confirmed. However, in the voice comic posted on November 2021 on YouTube, Taku Yashiro voiced Masatora Akutsu and Kaede Hondo voiced Lily Amane.
From the top, it does look like there is nothing new about the premise, including the potential romance between a demon and an angel. So, we would still need a trailer or two or probably wait for the first episode to judge this one.

‘The Foolish Angel Dances With Demons’ is a supernatural romantic comedy manga series by Sawayoshi Azuma. It was launched in the Dengeki Maoh magazine in June 2016. As of now, 15 volumes have been released.
Masatora Akutsu is a demon who arrived in the human world and entered high school. On his mission to recruit candidates to help demons fight against the angels of Heaven, he comes across Lily Amane, one of his classmates.
