The gender-bender slice-of-life comedy series “ONIMAI: I’m Now Your Sister!” is set to arrive in 2023. A second promotional video promises to keep you excited as it reveals two more cast members and the exact release date, which is just around the corner.
On Monday, the official website for the ONIMAI anime released a new key visual with a second trailer. The trailer introduces two new characters Asahi and Miyo, who are Momiji’s classmates. ONIMAI is set to arrive on January 5, 2023, on AT-X, BS11, and Tokyo MX channels.
The trailer gives a pretty good overview of the plot as we see the protagonist getting used to his new form. P Maru-sama has performed the opening song “Identeitei Meltdown”, which also plays in the background.

Studio Bind is handling the animation, with EGG FIRM co-producing it. The core staff was also announced during the announcement, with the recent additions of Daisuke Achiwa and Arisa Okehazama, who will compose the music. Here is the full list of the main staff:

Nekotofu’s manga narrates the story of a boy Mahiro, who stays in his room playing games. One day, he wakes up as a girl. Confused, he eventually learns that his sister performed an experiment on him. As he tries to get used to his new form, hilarious situations arise.
About ONIMAI: I’m Now Your Sister!
ONIMAI: I’m Now Your Sister! is a manga by Nekotofu that was first released in 2017. An anime adaptation is set to release in January 2023.
‘The anime focuses on Mahiro, a shut-in guy who suddenly wakes up and discovers that he has become a girl. He quickly realizes that his sister must have experimented on him.
Now, Mahiro has to learn how to live like a woman while trying to get back into his normal form.
