Sand Land, a short manga by Akira Toriyama, is getting a movie this August. For many of us who have not read the manga, the characters are new and unfamiliar. But it is easy to figure out the artist from his art. The signature hairstyles, eyes, and other details can be easily identified.
The trailer for the Sand Land movie was released a while ago, which gave us a brief introduction.
On Thursday, TOHO released a new 30-second teaser for the anime film, which mainly shows the character Beelzebub.
The demon stomps forward angrily, complaining about getting a “Game Over” because someone called him. The other creatures who stand beside him tell him that the trailer for the film has already started. Beelzebub replies that even though it is important for publicity, he is still being evil.
Sand Land is planned to be released in theaters on August 18. The main cast was revealed along with the trailer. The animation is being co-produced by Sunrise, Kamikaze Douga, and Anima.
Beelzebub strongly reminds me of the Dragon Ball character Gotenks who was hyperactive and rash since when he first appeared. I hope more such teasers are shared for Rao and Thief.
