Netflix and Tsuburaya Productions’ Ultraman Film Confirmed for 2024!

We are waiting for the final season of Ultraman on Netflix since its announcement. The franchise has experimented with a lot of formats, including the original tokusatsu format to live-action. This has led to a fandom made up of people from all age groups.

Netflix also planned for a CG animated Ultraman film and has recently shared an update.

On Tuesday, the platform revealed that the Ultraman film is scheduled for release in 2024. The film will be co-produced by Tsuburaya Productions. The staff is looking forward to casting a mix of Japanese and Western stars, including some lesser-known talent from Japan.

The film will mark the debut of Shannon Tindle as the director with John Aoshima co-directing it. The scripts are being written by Tindle and Mark Haimes. Tsuburaya Productions and Industrial Light and Magic are revealed to be the production companies.

No specific date has been mentioned for the film yet, but we can expect further details in a few months now that the release window is confirmed.

In case you are expecting this film to be a part of the Netflix anime series, you will be disappointed. The film will have a new protagonist who puts on the Ultraman suit and battles Kaiju.
