My Hero Academia Ch 405 Raw Scans, Spoilers: Bakugo Steps in Against AFO

The world watches as their hero approaches death in chapter 404 of My Hero Academia, titled “We Love You, All Might!!”

All For One holds All Might high so the world can see his pathetic situation. After seeing this, Bakugo launches himself down from the U.A. to grab Deku’s hand. Using Gear Shift, he flies through the air at supersonic speeds toward All For One.

All For One has already calculated that he isn’t nearly fast enough to arrive on time. However, the whole world’s prayers rest on his shoulders.

According to the spoilers, My Hero Academia’s Chapter 405 is titled “Final Boss.” The chapter begins with All Might and Nighteye on a white background. Nighteye confirms that this was supposed to be the gruesome death he foresaw, the “end of All Might’s dream.” 

However, he managed to twist fate and keep his promise to Deku. All Might smiles and jokingly says that the mentor’s role should be to die and let their disciples take care of the rest, but Nighteye calls him Toshinori Yagi and says that’s just a comic book archetype. 

Heroes are people, too, and they don’t die that easily. Bakugou and All Might land on the top of a building. Two kids comment on his explosion quirk, “Can’t ya see it?” the boy remembers that the League kidnaped him; some civilians recognize him from the Sports Festival, and Mahoro and Katsuma shout, “Bakugou!!!”

All Might ask if Bakugou is okay, and he says, “Right back at you.” Bakugou then spits out blood, and a tiny Edgeshot comes out from his chest. He says that he made Bakugou spit out some of the blood that had accumulated inside his chest and fall to the ground.

He used his own body to mend the broken bones and injured organs, but Bakugou continued to feel excruciating pain — it’s not an ideal body for fighting. Bakugou says he knows that very well and thanks his “senpai” for allowing him to continue living.

However, it wasn’t Edgeshot that brought Bakugou back. Even after repairing his body, his heart didn’t start beating again. When Edgeshot was almost out of strength, a drop of sweat ran through Bakugou’s bloodstream and exploded inside him, activating his heart.

“I only connected the parts in place. It was the quirk you strengthened over the years that brought you back”. Bakugou starts walking and asks who the hell is that glowing child. He thought it was All For One based on what was happening and attacked without even thinking.

All Might confirms it’s All For One and asks Bakugou to come closer since he can’t move due to Stain’s quirk. “It’s broken, but it will at least serve as a splint. I call this gauntlet “Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight” and give him the support item. Bakugou smiles.

All For One is looking at Bakugou but realizes it’s a waste of time. He needs to transfer the copy of his quirk to Tomura, but anger is taking over. He remembers Jeanist, Edgeshot, the Big 3, Endeavor, Hawks, Jirou, Tokoyami, Camie, Inasa, Machia, Mt. Lady, Mineta, and All Might.

“The wind should be blowing my way!!” thinks All For One. Bakugou then appears next to him, shouts, “I’m your final boss!” and unleashes a giant explosion right in his face. All For One remembers the second One For All user once again.

Bakugou says he’s here to “step in when Deku can’t handle it all on his own,” just like he said during his apology! It’s the end of the chapter, and there is no break next week.

With an utterly unexpected entry from Bakugo, he has miraculously managed to save All Might from All For One’s arms. As long as they manage to keep him safe and stall for time, All For One’s loss is ensured.

I. All Might Dies Regardless

Even though Bakugo has saved All Might now, All For One still has Gloop Warp and many other quirks he can use. Moreover, Nighteye had foreseen his gruesome death, which is still a very realistic possibility.

II. Deku Handles the Rest

Bakugo has always wanted to be the person who beats enemies and not a savior. However, his character arc has completed his development as a true hero of the people after saving All Might. Similarly, Deku will now battle All For One and Shigaraki as the true heir to All Might’s One For All.

4. Chapter 404 Recap 

Nighteye had foreseen a gruesome death for All Might and knew it was approaching soon. All For One laughs wildly while holding All Might high up to show the world their hero at rock bottom. Bakugo comes flying in a split second from the falling U.A. and the flowing wind.

He doesn’t go to Toshinori but Deku instead. He grabs his arm and swings him in a circle before using Gear Shift to blast toward All For One. All For One isn’t fazed; he knows he won’t make it in time.

The One for All image of Toshinori inside Deku is formless as long as he lives, but now it begins to show his authentic self. Regardless, Bakugo is travelling at hyper speed desperately trying to get to All Might. Around the world, people pray for their hero’s life.

Energy exists within the thoughts and prayers of people, even if it isn’t immediately apparent. There has always been a theory that the flap of a butterfly’s wings could lead to a hurricane in a different country. A seemingly small activity, multiplied by massive amounts, can bring an enormous change.

Toshinori had been the savior of countless lives during his time as All Might. All the people he rescued now watch him while praying desperately for his life. Bakugo is one of those people, but as the person who caused the “death” of All Might, he feels even more responsible.

A gust of wind blows behind Bakugo, powered either by the prayers of the people or the wings of a butterfly. He speeds through All For One’s arms, clutching Toshinori and redeeming himself for good. He shouts back at Deku; they must win this fight.
