My Hero Academia Chapter 391: Release Date, Speculation, Read Online

The fire of the Todoroki family is finally put out in chapter 390 of My Hero Academia, titled “Shoto Todoroki: Rising.”

With the family almost reunited at Toya’s final outburst of flame, the last remaining member makes his arrival with a blinding flash of ice. Launching an attack that brings the entire battlefield to a desolate freezing mist, the explosion stops.

Toya continues to freeze up from the inside, and his body has already reached a state that could be considered worse than a corpse. However, even with his limited breaths, he curses at the entire family, especially his father, Endeavor.

Ochako grabs Toga’s arm with her wire and uses her new move, Zero Gravity Space Walk. She admits to Toga that she hasn’t known her for a long time but her opinion of her has changed a lot. Toga repeats that it’s too late, but Ochako tells her it’s not. She saw her tears and seemingly figured out why she can’t use Twice’s quirk to its fullest.

Ochako tells Toga that her bloodlust is mixing with her feelings of love for others, overpowering it. While Tsuyu thought maybe she did not love enough, Ochako thinks it was more than that. Toga is enraged, telling her to shut up and that she knows nothing. Her face begins to show as she sheds Twice’s mask.

2. Chapter 391 Speculation

Toya’s battle has ended, and what will happen could go both ways. Either his death is imminent, or the ice freezing him up from the inside could be the path to his survival. Even if he continues living, however, society has already rejected him.

The next chapter will continue on a different battlefield area that has gone neglected for far too long; Toga and Uraraka’s fight is stalemate. However, their battle will be fought with words and emotions.

Iida’s power goes out as he takes Shoto as far as his body can handle, and with Flash Fire Fist: Phosphor blasts through the alleys and roads at incredible speeds. He constantly generates ice to reduce drag and fire to heat the air and reduce friction in front, maximizing efficiency.

Shoto had written letters to his mother now and then, talking about his life at the school in his attempts to reach the same emotional level as his classmates. Seeing his friends having so much empathy, they cry for each other, and he wants to get to that level too.

Reaching where Toya is, in a deadlock with his entire family, he lets out everything he has been holding all this while. Regretting that their confrontation had taken so long and can’t end yet since he still has so much more to say, he charges an attack, Great Glacial Aegir.

Everybody has been watching the battlefield, both children and the Association heroes who cannot approach the area. The mist of the attack begins clearing, and Shoto gasps for breath, with the aftermath clearly showing his entire body covered in blood.

However, as he talks of Toya’s firepower, the battle has already ended. Withering into ashes, Toya continues to curse his family and his father, wishing them all to perish. Freezing from the inside out, his body shambles as Endeavor desperately crawls to his son.

Screaming his apologies about everything for everyone he has wronged in the family, he takes on all of the blame onto himself. Not only Toya but Fuyumi, Natsuo, Rei, and Shoto. In a different part of the battlefield, Toga wonders if Toya could smile at the end.
