According to Lemillion, Bakugo was healed by Edgeshot while no one was dead. In response to Shigaraki’s call for idealistic words, Lemillion said that a hero must translate ideals into reality. Deku reined in his quirks after remembering the terms of his heroes, along with Daigoro Banjo’s warning.

It may have been a controversial decision to abandon U.A. to find Midoriya, but it ultimately helped Deku conserve his energy and reach the battleground faster.
