The manga is currently narrating the Paranormal Liberation War Arc, which is the eighteenth story arc in My Hero Academia.

This arc hands down displays some of the most life-threatening battles of the series so far.

Chapter 283 titled “75” displayed Dr Garaki achieving the unachievable by transferring the All For One Quirk from the original wielder to his successor Shigaraki.

As the villains rejoice in their newfound powers, the heroes work tirelessly to stop Shigaraki’s transformation as Mirko stops the transfer All For One’s power at 75%.

As his modification was halted by the heroes, Shigaraki’s body is unable to contain the full power produced by All For One.

He gets injured by his new power as his chest begins to rip apart. Fortunately, Shigaraki also possesses a healing quirk that heals his wounds simultaneously.

Towards the end of the chapter, the heroes are seen struggling to fight against Shigaraki.

Midoriya’s immense rage over Gran Torino’s death results in him being able to tap into the 7th One For All user, Nana Shimura power.

With this newfound power, Deku can now “float” and uses it to his advantage.

With All For One, Gigantomachia, super-strong Nomu, and numerous supervillains opposing them, the heroes are in for a hellish battle.
