Even without all the power, All Might is back to his usual self thanks to Stain. His enthusiasm to jump back into action might not be for the best, though.
Ever since My Hero Academia started, All Might has had a clear role in the story: to train the next successor of One for All. During a previous chapter, Deku leaves him abruptly to go off on his own.
Although the motivations behind that action might have been different, it doesn’t change the fact that Midoriya has become competent enough to handle One for All himself. Now that All Might’s purpose is all but fulfilled, we might be seeing the very last of him in the story.
His resolution with Deku and other students of Class 1A during this chapter, while he thinks about joining them in the final battle, gave all the red flags to that not happening.
He also left suddenly after all this to join Endeavour’s group, which just reeks of a disaster waiting to happen. There are all sorts of things that could go wrong while he is on his way.
The last time All Might ventured off alone in this chaos, he encountered Stain, who could have easily been a villain with a past grudge. With all the things he has dodged over the years, his luck might finally run out this time around.
Despite his powerless state, All Might is of great value to a twisted guy like All for One, who will use anything and anyone to achieve his goals. Now that his goal is Deku, All Might is the perfect target to push his buttons.
While nobody would like All Might to die, it almost just seems inevitable.
