Is ‘Black Clover’ Season 5 Returning? Leaks Suggest a Comeback ‘Soon’

‘Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King’ completes one month this week and fans are showering immense love towards it. All four wizard kings were powerful, with Conrad showing the pinnacle of his power using fusion magic and the sword Elsdocia.

We all hoped that there would be an announcement for the ‘Black Clover’ anime at the end. The nostalgic moment of Asta fighting Conrad with ‘Haruka Mirai’ playing in the background fueled it further. Unfortunately, no such news was officially announced.

A few days ago, a leak surfaced on Twitter, claiming that the ‘Black Clover’ anime series will return. The tweet included a key visual, which was later deleted and replaced by a text message that the anime is confirmed to return soon. However, take this information with a grain of salt as it is a leak.

To avoid DMCA, we are deleting the tweet announcing BC anime:

Yes. The ANIME  “BLACK CLOVER (ブラッククローバー)” will return soon!

The tweet above is from a reliable source that also once confirmed a Warner Bros. anime that would feature characters from DC Comics and about the release of the second part of Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Part 2.

Previously, ‘Black Clover’ ran for 170 episodes, covering the first few chapters of the Spade Kingdom Raid Arc. In the manga, this arc runs for 71 chapters in total and is also the penultimate arc. This can be released as a single season, but the anime would probably cover everything from chapter 271 and beyond.

No official party has confirmed the return, but we can expect the cast from the movie to return for the upcoming anime once it gets confirmed. The staff is also likely to be the same. However, we assume that Johnny Onda would return from the film for co-writing the scripts.

We have been anxiously waiting for the anime to return in 2024 because the manga would almost end or will have been concluded by that time. A lot of fights and new characters await coming to life. Now that the leak has got us all hyped up, an official announcement might finally make its way.

The story centers around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in; and his foster brother Yuno who received the rare four-leaf grimoire and has more magic power than most people! With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
