Kanki challenged Riboku as he left Gian and headed for Haki in chapter 739 of Kingdom.

It was a gruesome and gory chapter. What Kanki did at Gian castle was too inhuman for even a monster. His way of challenging Riboku is something out of the world.

Kanki left Gian and is now heading for Haki. It was a short chapter, but we got some insight into Kanki’s mind. His thinking about Shio is one of the rare moments where he shows human emotions throughout the story.

1. Chapter 740 Discussion

Riboku will head for Haki in chapter 740 of Kingdom. Riboku’s army is in a state of panic as they think that Kanki will kill more than 100K people present there. Fans speculate that Kanki’s end is near.

Given how he has been acting lately, it will be pretty soon when we have to say farewell to this man. It will really interesting to see how Riboku will handle this situation.

Many also speculate that Kanki won’t be there at Haki and that he is just luring Riboku there. We still don’t know whether Shin was aware of what Kanki did just know. I am so hyped for the next chapter.

Kanki tells Shin that Ousen won’t come to them. He also knows that Taigen and reinforcement from Kanyou won’t be able to come. Kanki tells Maron to get the Saki clan for him.

Kanki gets lost in thoughts of Shio. Maron interrupts him and informs him that the Saki clan has arrived. The soldiers are alarmed by the arrival of Riboku’s army.

The army surrounds the Gian castle from all sides and starts climbing it through ladders. When some soldiers reach the top, they are shocked to see that there is no enemy soldier present on the top of the wall.

It is the same for all sides of the wall. The commander sends the army through the gate, speculating that the Kanki army has kept some hostages.

The army barges into the castle. After a while, they rush out and report that everyone inside the castle is safe. Riboku thinks that Kanki is not inside the castle.

Everyone starts doubting that Kanki has left the castle and fled, but it is impossible not to go unnoticed with such a large army. They put surveillance on the west side, so maybe he has gone to the east.

Riboku doesn’t believe that Kanki’s destination is beyond the east. His destination is the castle of Haki. Everyone is shocked to hear that as the residents of Gian were moved over to Haki.

Moreover, there are more than 100K people presently in Haki, meaning Kanki is probably planning to keep them as hostages. The army starts panicking. A soldier from inside comes to Riboku and tells him about a messenger from Enkan Dono who wants to meet Riboku.

When they go inside, they find a tree decorated with the heads, torsos, legs, and arms of many humans. Kanki left a message on one of the bodies that read, “Hika’s tragedy will be engraved in history.”

Everyone loses their calm as they think he will massacre everyone in Haki. However, Riboku says that what Kanki means is that he won’t go down without a fight.
