4. Recap of Chapter 151
This chapter starts with a few US government officials checking out a vandalization. The general is annoyed that the Worm vandalized the Liberty Statue.
Afterward, the panels show a board meeting at a Japanese institution with the world’s underworld leaders gathered. Sukizo from the Kengen Association is present and reveals the purpose of the meeting. Sukizo states they have a common enemy – The Worm.
He continues explaining how Worm’s terrorist activity has increased lately. Their activity has reached the US, and the US Military isn’t taking the threat lightly. The Worm’s curse spreads and forms Worm supporters that raise worldwide issues.
Sukizo then tells the underworld leaders to join together for the common goal of defeating the Worm. Even though the proposal is laid out, some leaders aren’t sure of their full support since they have groups against them in their country.
Sukizo replies to their issues that the Japanese Government will support them in making opposing organizations submit to their ways. Since some of the leaders aren’t sure of such offers, Takao states the Kure clan is also part of the alliance to stop the Worm.
He adds that if the leaders agree to the alliance, the Kure will be personal protection in case they are a target. This offer makes the deal better among the underworld leaders. With things settled on the alliance, the Anti-Worm Alliance was formed.
Meanwhile, Xia is spotted by two thugs who are the Head’s subordinates. The thugs take Xia to where the Head is staying. They then present Xia to the Head. Xia Yan is revealed to be the Head of the Worm.
Xia tries to talk to the Head, but Yan states reasons he shouldn’t speak much. Yan then reveals he’s not the one Xia has to talk to. The panels then show the mysterious connector that was revealed in previous chapters.
Xia is petrified at the man’s presence, and the thugs are scared too, even though they’re not in trouble. The connector is revealed to be Shen Wulong. Shen then addresses Xia to wait since he’s trying to do something.
