With the dominating anime community, all streaming platforms have taken a dive into the world of streaming various anime series to popularize their platforms.

HBO Max is now trying to rake up all the subscribers by giving them the content they really want to watch i.e. anime!!

HBO Max had already started competing with big name streaming platforms like Netflix and Funimation and added major anime titles like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-(Director’s Cut), and Keep Your Hands off Eizouken.

Now this newly launched platform is back with some more gold.

HBO Max will be adding the following anime to its January 2021 anime lineup:

An isekai anime made in the year 2016 about a jobless boy who gets transferred into another world where he fights for his survival and meets new friends.

HBO Max asked for Crunchyroll’s help to sway customers to their streaming service instead of other ones. Crunchyroll had agreed to join hands with HBO Max to curate some good recommendations for anime that users will get every three months.

The platform will also add the 2013 Studio Ghibli documentary named “The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness” and the 2016 Hayao Miyazaki documentary named “Never-Ending Man” on January 12.

Sticking with its Japanese theme, HBO Max will be adding both the Kill Bill films in their newly added film list on January 16 making the New Year, a year packed with anime and movies.

This newly made platform will surely get the viewership it deserves and add new anime and movies for the binge watchers to enjoy and we sure hope for its success.
