After Clearing out some goblin nests and setting on a journey to the Elven village, the Goblin Slayer’s party gets attacked, presumably by goblins. 2. Episode 6 Speculation
Episode 5 of Goblin Slayer ended just as the party gets attacked by some unknown enemies while being in the middle of the river.
We might see a confrontation with the goblins again or maybe some completely unknown foe. But whatever it will be, it’s guaranteed to be exciting. We can also expect to see their arrival at the Elven village.
Once they reach the village we might even see a few scenes from the cheerful wedding near the end of the episode assuming nothing goes wrong, but whatever the case might be we can’t be sure whether the episode will be a happy one or a sad one yet. So stay tuned for Friday watchers.
3. Recap of Episode 5
The episode starts with High Elf getting a mail. After reading it, she declares it’s time for a wedding. While the party members misunderstood and thought it was High Elf’s wedding, their statements made her even more confused. But it was only until she revealed that the wedding was actually for her older sister.
She invited all the party members to the wedding ceremony. But just when it seemed like the Goblin Slayer was planning to stay back, the Priestess insisted that he must go since it was an invitation. Later, they go ahead to the reception and invite the Guild Girl too for the wedding.
Seeing Guild girl hesitate about work, her friend asks Goblin Slayer to clear 2-3 goblin nests to reduce her work stress a bit, to which Goblin Slayer happily agrees. Later at the church, after the party clears out all the goblins that were there and saves the victims who survived the attack, the Priestess reveals that she acquired a new miracle that can heal many people simultaneously.
After the successful mission, Goblin Slayer returns to the farm, where he meets the Cow Girl, who is waiting for him to return. He lets her know about the invitation to the wedding and that he’ll talk with her uncle regarding this matter. The next day party sets out for the town as the Cow Girl joins them.
After reaching the city, the ladies of the group set out to buy gifts for High Elf’s sister while the Goblin Slayer takes the stone tablets he got from the last goblin hunt to the Archbishop, the Sword Maiden.
The next day, the team continued their journey on the river with a rented raft. But soon after crossing the river bank, proving all their worries true, the whole team feels a lot of threatening presence nearby. As they prepare for a battle, huge rocks suddenly start falling at them from every direction. Just as one massive rock seems to be falling right on the priestess, the episode ends on a cliffhanger.
