In January 2018, the Japanese company for the production of anime and music Aniplex surveyed fans of games for smartphones.
The question was to find out what new quality users would like to see their favorite video game. It turned out that people wanted to adapt “Fate / Grand Order” in the anime series, and from there on, a New Era began.
1. Season 2 Release Date
The last episode of Fate/Grand Order – Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia aired March 21, 2020, and the closing scene of the previous episode confirms the imminence of the second season of the hit show.
Not only a second season is speculated, but also a couple of feature films are on the cards. The main question arises, that when will the second season release, well, there is no confirmed news about it. Still, there is speculation that it might release around the end of 2020.
2. Storyline/ Plot
‘Fate/Grand Order – Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia’ has been set in a world where Mage King Solomon has almost destroyed humanity. In 2015, Chaldea Security Organization, a secret organization working against Mage King Solomon drew on experts of both the magical and mundane fields to observe the future of humankind for possible extinction events.
The cause of eradication is unknown but might be linked with the Japanese town of Fuyuki and the events of 2004 during the Fifth Holy Grail War. In response, Chaldea harnesses an experimental means of time travel, the Rayshift technology. With it, Ritsuka Fujimaru, a young man newly recruited to the organization, and the mysterious girl Mash Kyrielight, can travel back to 2004 and discover how to save humanity.
A grand order to fight fate has been declared—an order to change the past and restore the future.

Part of Type-Moon’s Fate franchise, it is an adaptation of the “Babylonia” chapter from Delightworks /Aniplex’s role-playing mobile game Fate/Grand Order. The series aired in Japan on October 5, 2019, to March 21, 2020.
