Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel III Spring Song Has Been Postponed Due To COVID-19 Coronavirus Concerns

Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel has released two films so far: Presage Flower and Lost Butterfly, both of which became very successful. Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel III Spring Song’s release date is right around the corner and looks like even the COVID-19 pandemic isn’t stopping the fans from going to watch it.

Tokyo theatres such as Tachikawa Cinema City, Toho Cinemas Shinjuku, and Shinjuku Wald9 reported that multiple screenings of Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel III Spring Song have been completely booked. As a result, the movie is now postponed to April 25, 2020.

Yuriko Koike, Tokyo’s Governor, requested citizens to Tokyo to stay home in light of the recent spike of coronavirus cases in Tokyo. Despite this request, multiple screenings of the movie were completely booked. The movie’s premiere has now been postponed to April 25, 2020.

The story revolves around Shirou Emiya, an honest and hardworking teen who is forced to enter The Fifth Holy Grail War. In this deathmatch tournament, participants fight with magical abilities, as the winner gets a chance to have their desires come to life. Following a near-death experience, he meets Saber, an artificial personification of the legend Arturia Pendragon, designed to help the participants.

Other films such as Eiga Precure Miracle Leap: Minna to Fushigi na 1-nichi (Everyone and the Mysterious 1 Day), Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Shin Kyoryū, (Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s New Dinosaur), Gekijō-ban Ultraman Taiga: New Gene Climax (Ultraman Taiga The Movie: New Generation Climax), Shimajirō to Sora Tobu Fune (Shimajirō and the Flying Ship), Onward, and Dolittle have also been delayed.

About Coronavirus

COVD-19 coronavirus was first reported to have occurred in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. The disease then started spreading throughout the globe despite the best efforts from government authorities to stop it in its tracks.
