Dr. Stone’s first season was aired for a total of 24 episodes. The final episode of season one, titled “Voices Over an Infinite Distance,” aired on December 13, 2019.
In the latest issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump, Dr. Stone readers were teased with an upcoming announcement. Hopefully, it will be about the production details of Dr. Stone’s second season.
The first season ended with Senku discovering a recorded message from his father, who survived the incident which turned humanity into stone. After creating a record player, they hear the message, which includes several important details.
It also includes a song from Lilian, one of the sensational singers right before the petrification of humanity.
Stone Wars Plot
Dr. Stone’s season two will pick up from this point. Senku and team will use this song to defeat Tsukasa’s empire from the inside out. Using Lilian’s voice, they will try to convince Tsukasa’s army that a huge chunk of the world is already back to civilization and that there’s no need for fighting.
This will result in an all-out brawl between Tsukasa’s empire and the Ishigami village.
