Official Trailer for Dr. Stone: New World is Out!

Senku and the Kingdom of Science will continue to uncover the mystery behind the petrification. With Ryusui in his team, they can now go beyond their existing geographical boundaries.

But just because their old foes have joined hands does not mean a smooth journey. Expect more discoveries and new enemies in the third season of Dr. Stone, also known as Dr. Stone: New World.

On Sunday, the official website for the anime series released a promo video that reveals that the third season will premiere on April 6. The staff further added that this season would be split into two cours.

In the video, Byakuya buries strange rocks (possibly minerals) for the future generation. Senku thanks him in the present and then tells his team about platinum and how it can help them gain unlimited revival fluid. Gen, Chrome, Ryusui, Ukyo, and others prepare for their journey to Treasure Island.

In the end, a mysterious figure appears with the petrified bodies of many Kingdom of Science members on the ground. The video also previews the opening song, “Wasuregataki”, by Huwie Ishizaki.

The cast and crew from the previous season will return for Dr. Stone: New World. A new addition is Maaya Sakamoto, who will voice Francois.

Crunchyroll will stream the third season, with an English dub planned for release on April 20. The platform also plans to release German, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Latin American Spanish, and Castilian Spanish dubs.

Dr. Stone is a perfect example of a unique story in the shonen demographic. It does not follow the heroes vs. villains or good vs. bad storyline at the forefront but rather focuses on a greater goal visibly. I am so excited about what awaits, are you?

Dr. Stone is a Japanese manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump on 6th March 2017 and ended on March 7, 2022. Its chapters have been collected in 26 tankobon volumes.

Every human on the planet was turned into Stone after a mysterious flash of light hit Earth. Four thousand years after Senku, a student is confronted with a brand new world, an Earth without Humanity.
