Chapter 198 starts with Chrome overhearing the conversation between Senku and Tsukasa. He thinks of a way to keep Kaseki alive longer through the revival procedure.
However, Senku isn’t sure if the procedure has any effect on decaying skins and aging bodies. But the fact that Kaseki feels a lot better every time he gets revived gives us hope that it is possible to delay his death.
With the forbidden fruit of immortality, the rules of the world have changed. This immortality comes at the price of everlasting confinement at Whyman’s stone prison.
II. The Moon Mission Begins
Tsukasa wonders if eternal imprisonment is any better than death. The only way left is to meet Whyman on the moon and stop him before the third wave of petrification.
Despite knowing the risks, Senku revives to Xeno. He is sure that Xeno can’t do something fishy with Tsukasa watching him closely. Moreover, the Moon mission cannot be accomplished without the NASA rocketry expert by his side.
