I’ll solve equations from my right hand and write names with my left. I’ll take a potato chip… and EAT ITYagami Light
Although this time, it is going to be us eating the potato chips, as we enjoy Death Note: Short Stories. The date for its release is right around the corner, and we cannot wait to gorge on some more Ryuk content.
Death Note Short Stories is set for a release on February 4, 2021, and the volume cover for the same has been released online.
In the volume cover, we can see Ryuk standing behind a teen, enticing him with an apple which is Ryuk’s favorite thing in the human realm.
The boy seems to be around the same age of Light when he first found the Death Note, and somewhat resembles Minoru (A-Kira) from the special one-shot released last year.
This volume of Death Note is going to include the collection of some of the short stories and one-shots released after the conclusion of the 12 volumes of the original Death Note series in 2006.
It will also contain four extra episodes of “L: One Day” and “L: The Wammy’s House,” along with the “Never Complete One-Shot” released on February 4, 2020.
The book will be spread over 226 pages, and fans can get their hands on it for ¥540 from Shueisha’s official website.
Death Note Short Series’ digital version is also going to be released online on February 4, 2021, alongside its paper print.
Although the official English translation of the volume has not been announced yet, fans can expect the good news by next year from Viz Media.
Till then, can someone please write “Coronavirus” on the Death Note that’s been kept secretly at Area 51? Thank You.
