Boruto Manga Chapter 43 – Release Date, Where To Read & Story Updates

In the manga, the recent introduction of the Kara Organisation(kinda like Akatsuki), and Naruto & Sasuke’s fight against its leader Jigen, has stirred up trouble in the shinobi world yet again. After the fight with Isshiki Otsutsuki(in Jigen’s body), Naruto is sealed inside a box protected by Boro, yet another strong fighter of Kara.

Chapter 42 saw new Team 7 standing up against Boro to rescue Naruto, but were met with a huge obstacle – Boro’s insurmountable strength. The next chapter – 43, titled “Regeneration” was released today and continued with the battle against Boro. The most iconic moment of the chapter is Sarada using Chidori – the signature jutsu of Sasuke Uchiha & Kakashi Hatake.

1. Chapter 43 Release Date

The next chapter of the series will be released on 20th February.

2. Chapter 43 Speculation

There is not much information on the next chapter just yet. We will likely see Boro reaching the end of his rope after being struck by Sarada’s Chidori.

However, even if Boro is defeated, the question remains the same – Can the new Team 7 undo the seal and save the Seventh Hokage? The next chapter will be answering that question from the looks of it.

3. Chapter 42 “Regeneration” Plot

Chapter 42, titled “Regeneration”, was one of the best chapters in Boruto manga so far, and there are multiple reasons for it. The chapter starts with Boro trying to break the Team 7’s formation by charging towards the box Naruto is sealed in.

Although Kawaki knew it was a trap, he charged behind Boro and even after taking a surprise attack head-on he instinctively tried to save Naruto. Since, we all know that Kawaki will eventually destroy Konoha, supposedly kill Naruto and fight Boruto; everyone has had their suspicions about Kawaki’s intentions. However, this chapter proved that whatever circumstances the future creates, Kawaki is here to stay on the good-guys side for a while.

Kawaki Saving Naruto

While Boro is not stronger than the combined strength of new Team 7, his regenerative abilities are a force to be reckoned with. No matter how many times Boro’s body blasts off, it regenerates itself in mere seconds.

What is Kara Organisation in Boruto?

Just when all hope seemed to be lost, Kawaki revealed something to Sarada. Something as formidable as Boro’s body is still only a Scientific Ninja Tool and has its own shortcomings. A regeneration power as strong as Boro has to have a CORE, which, if destroyed, will render his powers useless.

While the boys distract Boro by attacking him repeatedly, Sarada uses her Sharingan to allocate the core and realises that he can relocate his core inside his body. That’s when it comes to her mind to use a jutsu even faster than hand signs itself.

Sarada uses Chidori

With the hope of defeating Boro and saving Naruto, Sarada asks her father to lend her strength and uses one of the most iconic jutsu of this shinobi world – Chidori. Even though the chapter ends at this panel, we can safely say the “regeneration monster” has been defeated.
