The previous chapter begins with Boruto talking to Kawaki’s shadow doppelganger who tells him to not interfere and ruin his plans, after all he’s just trying to do the right thing and sacrifice himself like every other teenager.
Having sensed that Kawaki could be in great danger, he tries to convince their sensory unit personnel Nishi that Kawaki is in danger and they should look for him.
Naruto checks for him and he’s nowhere to be found. Having been significantly otsutsukified , Kawaki can erase his chakra making him undetectable. Will Naruto be able to fight Code and save Kawaki without Kurama’s chakra ?
1. Chapter 63 Discussions and Prediction
In the end of chapter 62, Boruto is seen charging at Code to save Kawaki. Many fans are hinting that this would be the perfect time for Boruto’s Jougan to appear and give them a little bit of a fighting chance.
Since Naruto has lost Kurama, it is highly unlikely that he would be able to save Kawaki and Boruto. Code might even be successful in taking Kawaki to Eida and we find the full extent of her abilities.

Boruto had noticed something fishy taking place because Kawaki was inside but he sensed Kawaki’s presence both inside the house and outside the village.
He tries to convince the sensory unit personnel, Nishi, to look for Kawaki, but he just said he could sense his chakra inside the house, so no funny business. When he talked to Kawaki he repeatedly asked him to not interfere.
As Kawaki is seen running away, on the other end Eida tells Code that Kawaki has left his home and is alone. Code leaves at once as it’s too good of an opportunity to pass up. Code starts beating him up as soon as they meet.
When Naruto went to look for him, sure enough Kawaki wasn’t there as his shadow doppelganger had vanished. Boruto tells him that Kawaki has erased his chakra signature making him practically undetectable
Naruto asks Nishi and the whole sensory unit to go look for him. Since Boruto is almost an Otsutsuki as well, he’s the only one who can sense Kawaki’s whereabouts and begs Naruto to let him go look for him.
Naruto gives Boruto a firm no but Boruto doesn’t listen and leaves. While being beaten up by Code, Kawaki says that he wanted to talk about Code’s revenge plans.
He said that he was the one who killed Isshiki so he should leave the people of Konoha alone including Naruto and just kill him instead.
Code says that there’s no way he’s doing that and beats him up even more. As Eida asks him to stop, he does and tells him that he knows everything that happened and whoever was involved in killing Isshiki, he’s going to massacre them.
As he finishes insulting Kawaki, he grabs him by the neck and tells him that he’s coming along with him to someone who wants to meet him. That is when Boruto charges in and knocks both of them over, to save Kawaki.
