Did you really think Lucifero would go down so soon? Of course not. So, in chapter 317 of Black Clover, the devil is back, and we realize that he holds grudges. Asta instantly regrets face-planting him on the ground.
Oh, and Lucifero isn’t alone anymore, he has brought his special friend from hell, a supreme devil from the second level of Qliphoth.
The Black Bulls were a tad bit too early in celebrating their win, because Lucifero came back to crash the party pretty soon.
It looks like the devil is finally tired of his kaiju transformation. (It was ugly anyways). Lucifero has finished manifesting. He demonstrates his power by blowing off a huge chunk of land.
Asta and Yuno’s forms are completely undermined by Lucifero’s manifestation.
Another scene-stealer is the supreme devil. Although they look bored of everything, I’m sure a second-level devil will keep everyone busy for a long time. In the next chapter, Tabata-sensei is bound to reveal his powers.
There is a chance that the supreme devil will go against Yuno while Asta faces Lucifero. The ultimate devil and the supreme devil are going to team up to bring ruin to the Spade kingdom.
After Lucifero asserted his dominance by blowing up stuff, Asta seems to be in a pretty tight spot. After all, it was him who destroyed the kaiju Lucifero by swinging the Demon Slasher.
The next chapter might show Asta getting one-sidedly pounded, but don’t worry, he’ll get up pretty soon.
