With anime and manga becoming wildly popular around the world, it is no longer a rare niche. With many fans associating and mingling, an entirely new culture has started developing.
New channels for each subgroup, type, and interest within this sphere of interest has been created and occupied.
Now, our internet-driven generation has incorporated anime and manga into memes by creating a new template that has been trending – Anime Cards.
With these becoming a form of communication among fans, I’ve made a repository where you can come and get your regular dosage of them.
1The Secret of the Ninja
First on our list is the “Ninja” card, represented by not Naruto, but an equally worthy ninja (shh let’s pretend), Natsu Dragneel!
This card will make your opponent succumb to his inner desire to become a ninja by saying “nin” at the end of every sentence, until the end of the turn.
Use this card when your opponent just won’t stop taking the game seriously.
With overpowerful humans and monsters, next on our list is the most effective shield against them – Hifumi Takimoto, or better, Hifumi Sama!
Not only will you stop the monsters from attacking, but you’ll convert them into your own personal army, thanks to Hifumi’s preciousness.
Use this card when your opponent thinks that he’s won already by playing a simple Titan card.
3Gon the Gone Person
Looking for dads that have abandoned you is so last year.
Instead of playing a game just to find clues about your long lost father (though Greed Island arc was amazing), find your very own Killua and go off on an adventure with him.
Use this card right now. Honestly, just set off already.
4Same Type of Stand as Star Platinum
Next on this list is one from the supplier, and lord of all meme shows- Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures!
This card is a double-edged knife in that it can equip you with the best ability, but also label you as unoriginal and a thief. Play this trap card if you’re ready to take that risk.
5Golden Experience, Requiem
The most powerful card on this list, the situation every anime lover fears.
Play this card to curse your opponent with an infinite loop of recap episodes. Only use when there’s no other option left.
6It Was Me, Dio
By simply playing this card, Dio Brando will negate the effects of your opponent’s monster, only for 9 seconds, though. ( But no one needs to know that) Use this card to get rid of another JoJo card, seriously, how many of them are there?!
7Fuck Your Card
As if Stand users, fake ninja’s, and cute 2D girls were not enough, here’s a customary Dragon Ball card. It does, well, basically what the title says.
Play this card if you never want to get invited to games again, or if you want to get beaten up. Or both.
Not an attack, but for sure a power move. Play this card to show disappointment at a bad meme, card, or anything that is just bad.
For example, when your opponent uses the card above, or honestly, even the one directly below.
The perfect meme created out of pausing Naruto at ungodly moments.
Play this card to depress your opponent’s pokemon. Extra 9000 points damage if you and your opponent watch anime.
The perfect card for 2020, really. Be like Natsu, sip tea, and sit back when everyone is losing their shit, or as a perfectly cultured human would say, getting their jimmies rustled.
Play this card when the world finally burns down this year.
Another card that could potentially get you beaten. Play this Dragon Ball character card to ignore all other internet meme effects.
Using this card will either a) end the game, or b) get you kicked out of it. It is a difficult but necessary choice.
Play this card to steal a high-quality meme. Just right click and save it. It’s that easy.
The solution to all loner weebs, play this trap card to make your crush reciprocate your feelings. Use it cautiously; you only have one opportunity.
14Blue-Eyes Loli Dragon
This card is one of the strongest on this list; it directly affects your heart and the ability to think clearly.
Play this card to enamor your opponent with this cute dragon’s innocence. Do not attack, only protect.
15Send Thigh Pics
Play this card to receive thigh pics from everyone who sees this. Beware, using this card may potentially scar you and chip away at your humanity.
Made by Twitter user @Kutingnilevi, Asahi is here to spray some holy water on you all.
Play this card whenever someone needs Jesus. We are using this right now, as all of you need God after the previous meme card.
17I’ll Pray For You
Made by Twitter user @Kutingnilevi, Tanaka’s buddha face will give peace to anyone’s soul.
Play this card to pray for someone, like for your poor friend who just heard about Haikyu!! ‘s ending (tbh, I don’t think anyone was okay after that)
2020 has been rough enough already, be like Nishinoya and appreciate your fellow queens whenever you see them because they deserve it. Play this card for the Kiyoko to your Nishinoya.
19Normal Anime Girl
A totally normal 2D girl. Source: Trust me, dude.
Ah yes, classic Oikawa. Gain some of this pretty setter’s pettiness, and play this card whenever you win an argument.
Your friendship and humanity might suffer a blow, but the satisfaction more than makes up for it.
Here’s Sasuke providing us with more meme-worthy content. His contribution will be noted.
Play this card whenever you see something that makes you choke. Where was this card when I came across the picture of Hisoka dressed as a fairy!
Sasuke just does not stop providing! Play this card whenever you see something that you have no idea how to respond to. Like the Hisoka fairy picture . (No, I won’t stop talking about it, it’s imprinted in my mind)
The Internet is filled with disgusting things. However, unlike the character protected by Pewdiepie, we only have ourselves to rely on. Play this card to protect yourself from seeing something nasty.
24Nani the Fuck?
This card might come in handy whenever you see something that confuses you.
Aizawa only wishes he had this so that he could slap it on every Class A kid. Don’t worry, Eraserhead, we’ve got your back now.
While All Might did tell us to go Plus Ultra and surpass our limits, some people took it literally.
Just not in terms of power, but shitposting. Play this card whenever you see a Tweet that should’ve stayed in the drafts.
