Season 5 of the popular drama series Aggretsuko is finally coming. Aggretsuko season 5 will be released soon, according to Netflix. And we know that Aggretsuko fans are really happy about the season 5 launch announcement and are anxious to hear more about their favorite Drama.
Aggretsuko is returning to Netflix with its fifth and final season set to premiere in 2023! It’s been a while since the conclusion of the fourth season suggested that the series will return for a fifth season in the future, so there’s been a lot of expectation for any type of update that may give a little bit of how things are shaping out.
After considerable anticipation, we now have our first glimpse at the next season. Unfortunately, Netflix has also stated that the upcoming season will be the final.
Aggretsuko Release Date
This was announced during Netflix’s Tudum event this weekend. Season 5 of Aggretsuko will be released on the streaming service in February 2023. While there is no set release date for the new episodes, it has been revealed that this will be the series’ last season, with a cast and crew from the previous four seasons returning.

Expected Plot
Season 4 shifted the focus to other individuals in the story, each with their own set of issues and situations.
Despite having a difficult season, Haida was particularly focused on. Retsuko is really disappointed (and the die-hard shippers of the two). They were able to somewhat correct it before the conclusion of the season, and season 5 should be Haida’s redemption arc.
Shikabane, a multi-talented artist, will also be presented as a new character. Aside from the never-ending near-romance between Retsuko and Haida, the fifth season teaser exposes a new aspect of the central character’s colorful life: a government post.
Though one could argue that Retsuko working for the government does not seem healthy, and if she does push for it, expect more death metal karaoke sessions. Nonetheless, with this being the last season, supporters want to see Retsuko genuinely satisfied and, eventually, cease singing about her problems.
