Although the lady planned to move again, she stopped after giving birth to Bea. Akira asks why her mom didn’t continue traveling, and Bea says she became content with what she had. The lady had realized that she was constantly chasing whatever she didn’t have instead of appreciating what she did.

Bea says delivering the vaccine is a wonderful idea but warns Akira not to get caught up in the chase. Life is not a mere tool but something that is always glimmering. Bea tells Akira to enjoy every moment and focus on living life instead.

As nightfall arrives, Akira notices Shizuka sitting alone and watching the moon. Shizuka looked extremely happy and content, just staring at the night sky. Akira sits down beside her, and Shizuka offers to share a coat. Shizuka takes out the fireworks they acquired, and the two have fun under the moonlight.

Finally acquiring peace of mind thanks to Bea’s story, Akira crosses out “Pursue happiness” from the list.
