Yuki Kaji’s Son Debuts as Youngest Voice Actor in Anime History Via AOT!

Yuji Kaji’s 11-month-old baby debuted in Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Part 2 finale, becoming one of the youngest voice actors in anime history. He voices a crying baby, of course.

Yuki Kaji is renowned for voicing the protagonist, Eren Yeager. He shared an audio file of his child’s cries with the production team, who incorporated it into the final episode of AOT under the guidance of the anime’s sound director, Masafumi Mima.

Kaji and Taketatsu registered their marriage on June 23, 2019, Taketatsu’s 30th birthday. The couple announced the birth of their first child on November 3, 2022.

Yuki Kaji’s child is featured during a mother’s heroic act to save her baby just before a group is pushed off a cliff by the army of Colossal Titans. Her sacrifice and strength inspire others nearby to pass the baby through the crowd, holding it high above to avoid the tragic demise.

The cries of Yuki Kaji’s baby play a crucial role in the scene. It was made more special as they added the real child of Eren’s voice actor, making it a super emotional moment.

The staff decided to use the baby as the anime’s finale mainly focused on “inheritance” and “succession.” It was symbolic to use Yuki Kaji’s child. All in all, it was a super epic moment!
