The first episode of Season 2 has already made its debut on January 9, and it revealed the brand-new opening and ending theme for the anime.

The new opening theme for World Trigger Season 2 is titled “Force,” performed by the K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and the ending theme is titled “Future Eternity” as performed by “Kami wa Saikoro o Furanai.”

You must be familiar with TOMORROW X TOGETHER as the popular K-pop group performed the theme songs for well known titles including the 12th opening of Black Clover anime titled “Everlasting Shine,” which went trending worldwide.

The opening theme features the main characters and teases use with the glimpses of the action scenes that we can expect from season 2.

The series was on hiatus for years due to author’s poor health condition. Fortunately, the manga made a come-back in 2019.

The franchise also confirmed that they are already working on the third season of the series. The expected release date for Season 3 has not been released yet, but the news at least confirms that the series isn’t ending anytime soon.

The anime takes place in a world where strange and dangerous creatures called “neighbors” enter the planet from a portal.

World Trigger has always been an underrated anime with an intricate story set in a simple to follow premise. Season 2 is expected to bring the popularity and fame that the series deserves.
