Will Vegeta Become God of Destruction?

Dragonball Super is clearly headed towards a direction that includes Gods and other divine entities. Both Goku and Vegeta have taken their training from the God of Destruction, Beerus and his attendant Whis.

Vegeta has actually been pretty close to the level of Beerus, in terms of Destruction. Is it possible for Vegeta to beat Beerus and become the God of Destruction? Let’s find out!

Vegeta will require more training to Surpass Beerus and Become the God of Destruction. However, he definitely has the potential to be one. His new power, Ultra Ego helps him absorb the damage and become stronger which makes him a much better candidate than Goku.

Vegeta and His Destruction Powers!

With Goku and Vegeta, Goku’s powers have always been closer to angels while Vegeta’s powers have been closer to the Gods of Destruction.

Vegeta also got to train under Beerus and focused his energy on learning the techniques of the God of Destruction. This also led to him gaining his newest and most powerful technique Ultra Ego.

This form is opposite to Goku’s Ultra Instinct which mainly focuses on avoiding hits while Ultra Ego is a form that allows its user to absorb all the damage taken and become stronger.

This led us all to believe that Vegeta would inherit the God of Destruction powers. He also was able to overpower Granolah which further cemented our beliefs.

Vegeta’s Potential to be the God of Destruction?

Vegeta has the greatest potential to be a God of Destruction. His powers and his new form can especially aid him on this path which is opposite from Goku’s Ultra Instinct.

As seen with Toppo during the Tournament of Power, only those with capability can inherit the title of God of Destruction for their universe. And Vegeta seems like a perfect fit.

Vegeta does not hesitate or waver and stands by his decisions. This would make him the best candidate for the job. According to multiple theories, he will eventually inherit the title and there isn’t much I can disagree with.
