1. Who Kills Genos?

Garou kills Genos in the Monster Association Arc to aggravate Saitama and have a battle with him.

Garou had turned into an absolute monster due to the process of monsterisation and smashing his limiter.

He went on a rampage to become the “absolute evil,” after getting powers from God, Garou entered the Cosmic Fear Mode.

With this immense energy flow within him, Garou launched Saitama far away using the move, Gamma Ray Burst.

With this, Garou was left in front of the Hero Association members, and god had given him such powers that he was emanating radiation, which was making everyone sick around him.

Bang was about to take him on, but the number one enigmatic hero, Blast, appeared and advised Bang to stay back as the radiation Garou was emitting was too toxic for him.

This is when a damaged Genos arrived on the scene; he had been previously battling the fusion of Psykos and Orochi, Blacksperm, etc.

He had even protected Tatsumaki with his own limbless body and refused to self-destruct as it would put Tatsumaki’s life in danger.

Then Garou realized that Saitama was the hero he fought with and the one whom a S Class hero like Genos refers to as master.

To challenge Saitama and lure him out, Garou plays dirty. He rips out Genos’s power core.

To fuel the fire, he throws Genos’s lifeless core at him, tipping him off and cornering Saitama to get serious in battle finally.

Then, the epic clash between them takes place, which doesn’t only take place on Earth but also on Jupiter’s moon.

2. How was Genos Revived?

Genos was revived by Saitama, who had traveled back in time to stop Garou from rampaging as a monster.

It happened after Saitama defeated Garou at the end of the Monster Association Arc.

Even after God had given Garou powers, he had lost to Saitama, and during the battle, Tareo lost his life.

Garou was filled with remorse over Tareo’s death, and after realizing that he could never actually beat Saitama, he asked him for a favor, which was to go back in time to stop this catastrophic outcome.

Saitama copied the Time travel technique from Garou and traveled back in time right up to the moment when Garou had momentarily launched Saitama off somewhere and stood before the Hero association.

That was when Saitama came and launched a mighty punch right at Garou, and he was knocked back to his senses.

If Garou hadn’t been stopped at this crucial moment, he would have injured other heroes and killed Genos to aggravate and lure Saitama out, knowing that killing Genos would enrage him.

3. About One Punch Man

One-Punch Man is a Japanese superhero webcomic created by the artist One in early 2009. It has a manga adaptation illustrated by Yusuke Murata, as well as an anime adaptation. Following its publication, the webcomic quickly went viral, surpassing 7.9 million hits in June 2012.

On an unnamed Earth-like supercontinent planet, powerful monsters and villains have been wreaking havoc in the cities. To combat them, the world’s government created a Hero Association that employs superheroes to stop them. The heroes are ranked from Class C to Class S.

Saitama, an unassociated hero, hails from the metropolis of City-Z and performs heroic deeds for his own entertainment. He has trained himself to the point where he broke his “limit” and can effortlessly defeat any opponent with a single punch while slaying monsters the same way. But he is now bored with his omnipotence and frustrated by sensing he lacks a challenge.
