Episode 7 Recap
Episode 7 of “When Will Ayumu Make His Move?” is titled “I Can’t Just Quit, Senpai”.
The episode begins on the first day of the new academic year. Takeru and Sakurako take Ayumu and Urushi to the classroom to find out where they will be this year.
Since Takeru and Sakurako will be in the class, Urushi is also pleased to share a classroom with Ayumu.
Later, Urushi meets Miku and Hinano, two of Maki’s friends. Urushi and Ayumu create fliers the following day to invite people to their club.
The focus of the story turns to Ayumu’s flashback memories. Ayumu can recall when he first joined the group a year ago. Takeru described the sensation of love to him as they made their way to the kendo club. Urushi apologized as a flyer abruptly flew in his direction, making him fall in love with her right away.
Ayumu and Takeru are brought back into the present by a woman by the name of Rin Kagawa, who wants to get them both back into the kendo club. Ayumu agrees to a bout in which he will join the kendo club if he loses to Rin, and she will join the shogi club if he wins.
As they leave, Urushi reflects on everything they have been through and realizes that even if she officially launches her club, Ayumu won’t be there to support her. As a result, she hurries to the game, where she is delighted to hear from Ayumu that he won.
Rin concedes to joining the shogi club after losing. This is where the episode ends.
