After consecutive hits from the franchise, Demon Slayer has become a household name. The Mugen Train movie made history, and I doubt any anime film will be able to break the record anytime soon.
Naturally, fans will flock to get a taste of the incredible series, which in turn leads to doubts regarding the anime’s different cours and seasons.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has received two seasons so far, with a third on its way. Of course, the Mugen Train movie needs no introduction, either.

It is a spinoff mini-series set in the Kimetsu Academy, which is an alternate universe. Here, all the Demon Slayer characters have small adventures that are funny and entertaining. These shorts are not important to the canon storyline but do give it a watch if you are craving more cute content after finishing the series.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba isn’t a huge franchise and is easily navigable. The recommended order is what you should begin with. You can skip the ‘Mugen Train’ episodes in lieu of the movie, and the mini spinoff is just an extra that is not related to the canon work. The ‘Brother and Sister’s Bond’ movie is also completely skippable.
The release and chronological order are the same so you don’t have to worry about messing up the timeline in this case. Finally, have fun watching this beautiful series that ufotable put its heart and soul into.
