Urusei Yatsura Episode 15 Release Date, Speculations, Watch Online

Mendo’s childhood friend Tobimaro in episode 14 of Urusei Yatsura, titled “That Mizunokoji Boy, Love Letter Trouble!!.”

It was a hilarious and chaotic episode. Ryoko, Mendo’s sister, loves Tobimaro, and throughout the episode, she tries violent and strange ways to accept him and realize her love.

Tobimaro was there to challenge Mendo to fight him. Instead, he got to struggle against Mendo’s sister. At the end of the episode, Ryoko is finally successful in winning over Tobimaro and Mendo.

Episode 15 Speculations

I have no idea what will happen in episode 15 of Urusei Yatsura, titled “Anko Pathos, the Taste of Love? Memories and a Close Call…Adverse Effects.”

The title is long and strange. The episode seems to be related to Ran, most probably. She might try to get Rei’s attention and win his love. Everyone is after love in the past few episodes, and their consequences are hilarious.

We will get to see someone’s memories in the second half of the episode. Something bad might happen, and maybe Ten is involved in it. I am confused about the title, but I am excited to see what will happen.

Episode 14 Recap

A strange samurai shows up at Ataru’s school.  The school is holding its annual sports tournament. Mendo hits the baseball that hits the samurai. Mendo recognizes him. The samurai’s name is Tobimaro Mizunokoji, and he has returned from the mountains.

He is the heir to the Mizunokoji Sports empire. Tobi challenges Mendo to play a match with him as he has trained in the mountains just for their rematch. Mendo’s sister Ryoko also appears, and she, too, wants Mendo to play against Tobi.

Ryoko loves Tobimaro. Mendo asks Ryoko that if he wins the match, she will never think of dating Tobi. The match starts, and Ataru tries his best not to let Tobi score.

In the end, the match ends with no winner. So the next day, Tobi hid inside Mendo’s estate. He hides inside a bridge. Royko comes on the bridge. Tobi misunderstands her as Mendo and sends her a letter to meet him at noon.

Ryoko asks Ataru to help him as Mendo restricts her from leaving the estate. She goes to see Tobi but is followed by Mendo as well. Mendo is ready to accept their relationship only after Tobi defeats him.

The situation gets chaotic. Ataru tries to get his hands on Ryoko. Lum and Ryoko try to make Tobi realize his love for Ryoko. He is not ready to accept it. Seeing Ryoko’s dedication and Tobi’s struggle, Mendo agrees to their relationship.

About Urusei Yatsura

Urusei Yatsura is a manga series by Rumiko Takahashi. It has a total of 374 chapters and was published from 1978 to 1987. Its anime adaptation received 195 episodes from 1981 to 1986. A new anime adaptation with selected stories began airing in October 2022.

In the series, a humanoid alien race invades the Earth but agrees that if the protagonist wins in a game of tag, they will leave it unharmed. Ataru wins against the alien girl, Lum.

Lum misunderstands and thinks Ataru is proposing marriage, and starts living with him and joins his high school. Ataru is a trouble magnet and gets stuck in weird situations pretty often.
