Episode 9 showed us the year-end party of Together with Mama, where Uramichi had a hard time dealing with the new employees. If you think Uramichi’s adult depression is bad enough, you may reconsider after seeing the mental state of these new employees.

Episode 10 Speculation              

Episode 10, titled “Frigid Spiral,” will show how Uramichi’s daily life will remain boring even in this new year. The children’s smiling faces will be the only thing that will keep him going.

It’s pretty hard to determine anything from the title, but I am guessing that the new year means new workloads and new problematic company policies for Uramichi.

Episode 9 Recap

Episode 9 takes us to another tiresome day at Together with Mama’s set, where everyone is busy with their Christmas planning. Uramichi desires to have a relaxing time alone, so he rejects everyone’s offer of hanging out together.

Later, Uramichi comes across a little boy who is excited about his Christmas present from Santa. Here, Uramichi shares his own experience of how Santa never gave him what he wanted.

The childish conversation ultimately leads to revealing that Iketeru oniisan still believes in the existence of Santa. Uramichi was completely cringed out after knowing this and was about to burst into laughter.

The Christmas week was rough for all the employees, as they had to perform three sessions each day. Not only that, Uramichi has a hard time dealing with the new employees of the sales department, whose mental state is far worse than anyone we have seen so far.

The more Uramichi tries to befriend the new employees, the more he believes that they can never get along. However, all this exhaustion instantly vanishes when two children come back all the way to thank Uramichi.

Those smiling faces and cheerful words were like soothed Uramichi like the first drop of water on a dry throat. He gains the will power to do all the overtime duties, and invite the new employees for the year end party.

Thanks to Uramichi, the year-end party turns out to be a huge sucess. Despite being the one to hate parties the most, he invited everyone personally for the sake of the company.
