Episode 9 of ‘Undead Unluck’ is titled “Return.” During a hopeless fight against Victor, Fuuko saves the day.

While the Union members barely keep up with Victor’s speed, Top takes Fuuko to safety. Shen entrusts Andy’s card to Fuuko and also hands her a gun for protection. Fuuko refuses to stay away and asks Top to take her back to Victor.

Once Top takes Fuuko back, she jumps onto Victor and tries to trigger her Unluck. The Union protects Fuuko while she builds up her ability.

1. Episode 10 Release Date

2. Episode 10 Speculation

Andy has finally returned to normal thanks to Fuuko’s quick thinking. Now that the Union has returned to the roundtable, it’s time for quest results. Apocalypse will likely announce the quest’s success for UMA Spoil and its rewards.

The next objective will be to find Unrepair since that was mentioned during the quest announcements. Moreover, we may face some consequences for Andy due to the incident. Since a simple card is the only thing stopping Andy from becoming Victor, the Union may provide additional measures.

3. Recap of Episode 9

Juiz leads the Union into battle with Victor, landing a clean cut through Victor’s torso. However, Victor’s new regeneration speed is on an entirely different level. The Union members barely keep up while Victor runs circles around them all.

Shen gives Fuuko the card and a gun since she wants to return to Andy. Top uses his speedy legs to carry Fuuko to Victor, and they both introduce themselves. Meanwhile, the other Union members continue battling with several versions of Victor.

The Union barely keeps up with the clones while Juiz fights the main body. Fuuko asks Top to take her to the main body. In the middle of their battle, Fuuko jumps onto Victor and puts her shirt over him. However, the Unluck only works on Andy and not Victor.

Victor cuts off his body parts and creates more clones. Victor tries telling the Union that stronger members can replace Unluck if she dies, but Juiz refuses. Fuuko desperately tries to think of a way to bring Andy back. Fuuko pulls out the gun, shoots Victor in the head, and then shoves her finger into his brain. Andy comes out in a spurt of blood and grabs Fuuko for a kiss.

The entire battle comes to a standstill, and Fuuko steps back, flustered. Before the Unluck strikes, all the Union members retreat far from the blast zone. Victor wakes up, but Shen stops him from escaping the area. A flurry of meteors and floods strikes the town and decimates it.

Fuuko runs to Victor’s burnt corpse and shoves the card into his brain before passing out. When Fuuko wakes up in the hospital, Andy sits beside her bed. Andy apologizes for everything that happened and thanks Fuuko for saving him. Back at the Roundtable, Apocalypse reveals the quest results.

Undead Unluck is a manga series written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since January 2020. As of May 2023, it is collected into 16 volumes.

The story follows Fuuko Izumo who has the ability to bring bad luck to anyone she touches. Tormented by her ability, she decides to commit suicide but fate intervenes when she meets Andy, an undead person who wishes for the ‘best death.’ The pair joins the mysterious organization, Union, which consists of people like Fuuko and Andy, and go on missions given by a book called ‘Apocalypse.’
